About Me
- Stephanie McDuffie
- Hello I am Stephanie M. Freeman and I have created this to let everyone walk with me through my journey I am taking to accomplish my dream of qualifying for the Boston Marathon.Running is such a passion of mine. When I was 14 years old I experienced a life changing event that gave me this passion. I suffered a brain injury from a car accident that left me in a wheelchair & with no hope to ever walk again. For 2 months of my life I prayed for my miracle, and with strength and determination I proved all my doctors & nurses wrong... I walked again! When I run now a days I let this memory drive me harder than ever to be the best person/runner I can be! So therefore I know this goal of mine WILL happen for me and I will make most sure of it!

Went to the gym at lunch and worked da gutt:) lol.... Feeling somewhat burned out, and my leg is still bothering me, usually it doesn't hurt once I get going and the muscle is warmed up but I talked with my coaches and they told me to probably wait on the speed session. I am thinking I will go to Fitzgerald and do it tomorrow with my old running coach Mr. Frank McCleod. I will give him a text later and see if he would like to do it tomorrow later:)
Today is speed day.... Its Thursday and I slept in til around 6ish because I know I will go to the track after work today and get an interval session in. I hope this ole leg holds up and stops giving me so much trouble. If i haven't mentioned before I pulled my solieous muscle in Febuary of this year training for a marathon and it has given me a world of trouble since:( But I will get through this no matter what!
